Don't fear, despite the title, I haven't joined Scientology.
Another round of Top 5 stories of the week for you- entertainment edition! Sheila fills us in on some new movies generating Oscar buzz, the latest make-ups and break-ups, and more! Also included is a long tangent about our life plans for the children of Stranger Things.
Tuesday is always the day of the week on which I'm most grateful I've done meal planning and prepping. Does anyone else get a strong urge for takeout on Tuesdays? I can't be alone in this. Below is what what I planned and did over the weekend to make it easier to eat at home!

I'm introducing another new series on the ol' blog. I'm not saying I'll never do my "intentions and to-dos" lists anymore, but when I do, they'll be different. My therapist recently told me that we try to take on too much at once, then get sad that we fail. It's so simple, but so true. Welcome to this month’s book club episode! We’ll review Katherine Heiny’s “Standard Deviation,” introduce next month’s selection, “Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine,” and chat about Erin’s Haiti trip and new house. If you have requests for our upcoming live episode, let us know!
Welcome to a new series! While I regularly share recipes using my "What I Cooked Last Week" post format, I sometimes dread writing them because it is difficult to remember everything I cooked/substitutions I made in the recipes/initial thoughts, etc.
This meal prep and plan series will allow me to share what I'm cooking as it happens- easier for me and hopefully fun for you!
Hope everyone's week is off to a spooktacular start!
