This week we’re breaking down 5 of this week’s biggest news stories. We’ll cover the tragedies in Charlottesville and Barcelona, as well as 2017’s highest paid actresses, Tay Tay’s win in court, and the upcoming solar eclipse!
Lately, it seems like very book or article I read about environmental concerns, mindful eating, and general humanity, touts the importance of eating less meat. While I don't think I'll ever be a full-blown vegetarian, I have made an effort to eat less meat in the past few months. If you'd like a full post on some of the changes I've made, let me know! In the mean time, here are some things I've made lately!
I want to start off this week's goals by saying I feel like a jerk when I post personal photos or frivolous thoughts on social media after a national, or international, crisis. The truth is, between what seems like an impending nuclear or civil war, these goals of mine mean absolutely nothing. However, in times of crisis, I think we need to balance normalcy and crisis intervention. So, in addition to doing your usual weekly tasks, I hope you'll take a minute to consider donating to or learning more about the really great charities and organizations of Charlottesville. You can start here.
Hey, guys! Just a quick update on where I've been the past two weeks...

Hi, all! I'm a day early this week. I hope you had a lovely weekend, I seriously enjoyed (and took advantage of) the break in humidity!
I thought this week, I'd share mini-reviews of some of the books I've read since my last book post. I'm currently reading "Rich People Problems" and "The Hate U Give" so I'll include those next time! Onto the books I've finished:
Happy Monday! I had an awesome weekend at home with family, friends, and celebrating the marriage of two close friends! Let's keep the good vibes rolling...
Like dental and vision! We're going to break down what Obamacare is, what Trump is proposing, and some good-to-know insurance lingo for when you're shopping plans.
Today, I want to share with you some thoughts on a thought process (or lack thereof) I call "riding the wave." A bunch of my family members are vacationing in Cape Cod this week and my aunt sent me a photo of my cousin and that's how this entire post got started. To see the photo and what it made me think about, keep reading!
